Sister Earth (Laurie) grew up in Northeast Iowa among the rich history of the Native Americans that reside there. She always understood that the ancestors walk with us and are available for communication with us whenever we need them.
Sister Sea (Joyce) grew up in Louisiana among the Cajun, Creole, and Native Americans that have given the area the beautiful history that it still enjoys today. Growing up she was blessed to have the elders of these cultures as her mentors.
Meeting during the Yule season in 2003, an instant sisterhood was formed. In October 2004 together they opened the Sisters of the Earth and Sea retail store in Harker Heights, Texas. During the following years they brought an acceptance for diverse spiritual paths to the community.
They were honored by the Coalition of Visionary Resources (COVR) in 2010 as the International New Age Retailers of the Year.
Although the retail store closed at the end of October of 2011, their work in the community is far from over.
Being Ordained Ministers in the State of Texas, Crystal Vision Spiritual Group was born and will continue to grow, serving the community in spiritual enlightenment.
Sisters of the Earth and Sea remain a very active Web store for all of your spiritual needs. The Sisters also will continue with their readings in person or over the phone.
Coalition of Visionary Resources is a volunteer professional trade organization whose mission is to help guide and stimulate business within the New Age market place while serving as a resource for information and education for its members. C.O.V.R. supports Retailers, Authors, Artists, Musicians, Manufacturers, Publishers, Distributors and much more.
The Sisters were honored as the International New Age Retailer of the Year at the Saturday June 26, 2010 banquet by C.O.V.R. (Coalition of Visionary Resources) This is a very high honor and we want to thank our community for your support and to let you know this award is as much yours as ours.
The Sisters ran "Sisters of the Earth and Sea" store from Oct 2004 - Oct 2011. They closed their sticks and bricks to move further on their Spiritual Path. The Sisters are still offering assistance by providing Spiritual products on their web store and continuing to be available for anyone in need of Spiritual Guidance.
